Ce GTA premier du nom lance les bases de ce qui allaient être la série ayant le plus défrayé la chronique dans le monde du jeu vidéo. Les graphismes minimalistes en vue de dessus n'entache en rien l'intérêt immense de ce jeu.
Vous commencez donc votre épopée à Liberty city et il vous faudra au fur et à mesure des missions faire vos preuves et monter en grade dans la mafia. Le jeu vous propose une liberté d'action totale dans la ville. Vous pourrez prendre n'importe quelles voitures ou motos et soit faire vos missions soit trainer en ville à la recherche de nouveaux défis. Attention cependant à ne pas faire trop d'excès sinon la police se lancera à votre poursuite et s'ils vous attrapent c'est la prison ou l'hôpital illico.
Ce premier opus vous propose 3 villes qui par la suite seront repris dans GTA III (Liberty city), GTA III Vice City (Vice City) et enfin GTA San Andreas (San Andreas). Un véritable bonheur pour les fans de la série de retrouver les sources de ce qui allait être un véritable phénomène de société.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010

Comme chaque année à la même période, Konami fait peau neuve à sa licence la plus attendue : Pro Evolution Soccer. 2010 ne déroge pas à la règle et c'est avec une grande impatience que les fans du monde entier se précipitent pour tester le dernier cru de la saga.

Grand Theft Auto III RealGTA3 mod 1.0

This is a popular mod for GTA III that updates Liberty City to look even more like an average American city. Included are new cars, new weapons, buildings, bridges, and even the Statue of Liberty. New Weapons. RGTA includes brand new weapons: crowbar, Desert Eagle, uzi KG-9, shotgun, Battle 7, MP5, Sig551, rocket launcher M79, sniper Rifle PSG-1, L2A2 grenades, new molotov, and flamethrower model. The weapons are more effective (by 50 percent on average), so now it's really dangerous to hang in the area of hostile gangs! You need only few bullets from any weapons to die...but in opposite, you're invincible if you can use your weapons well.
New City's Look. These objects have been added to the city: Statue of Liberty - this awesome NY's statue has moved to Liberty City. You can find it on new island near the Kenji's casino (it's even marked on radar), so you must use a boat to get there. There are some useful historical and technical information on the statue's pedestal. If you want to see all of Liberty City from a birds-eye view, use the stairs to get into the statue's head or torch. The idea of many players is finally in the game: jump ramp to Liberty Island. Just take a very fast car and try to be accurate in targeting the ramp. If you go the wrong speed or direction, and you won't land by the Statue of Liberty...you will fall into the water. If you'll start a new game, there will be a boat by the Liberty Island ready to get you back to Staunton. A new bridge is placed in Shoreside Vale and it's very useful, because it connects your hideout to the main road near the Francis Int. Airport. If you use Yakuza Toyota Supra Veilside, you can get to Staunton from Shoreside in a few seconds.
The mod also includes new in-game menus and loading screens; in-game texts changed to fit the RGTA; new billboards, posters and advertisements all over Liberty City; water has got a new color; all trees have been changed to beautiful palms; grey rocks/cliffs are now beige like in Greece; the roads look more modern; the pipes in the water have been deleted; you can travel by boat everywhere you want; nail boxes belongs to Euro Express; new helicopters at airport; new pager by CityGear; new crosshairs for rocket launcher and sniper rifle; default ugly radar is now color and very detailed: roads are white, buildings are orange, grass is green, water is blue and places of interest are purple.

Mafia II

Huit ans après le premier épisode, Mafia revient dans une suite encore plus explosive. Sous les traits de Vito Scaletta, un fils d'immigré sicilien, vous commencez votre aventure après votre rapatriement de la Seconde Guerre mondiale suite à une blessure. Son ami Joe qui vient le récupérer à la gare se propose d'user de son influence pour ne pas qu'il reparte au front. Bien évidement le service n'est pas gratuit et c'est ainsi que l'engrenage de la mafia se met en place.
Fini les années 30, l'histoire se déroule tout d'abord dans les années 40 puis très vite dans les années 50. On peut suivre les mésaventures de Vito Scaletta à son apogée au sein de la mafia Sicilienne. Mafia II alterne les séquences d'anthologie privilégiant l'action et la conduite agressive dans les rues de Empire City, une ville immense hommage à New York et au San Francisco des années 50. Ce jeu de "sandbox" (bac à sable) laisse libre court au joueur qui peut errer, à la manière d'un GTA, en cherchant des missions annexes ou tout simplement pour découvrir les bas fonds de cette ville tentaculaire.

Halo: Combat Evolved

Two years after the phenomenal success of Halo for the Xbox, Microsoft has finally ported this first-person alien shooter to Windows--just in time to promote the release of Halo 2 for Xbox. In Halo, you control the Master Chief, an enhanced soldier awakened from cryogenic sleep to save humankind from a nasty group of aliens called the Covenant. Although the PC version only adds a few maps and loses the cooperative mode, the impressive graphics, exciting gameplay, and variety of weapons and vehicles make Halo worth a try for any fans of first-person shooters.

The demo features two vehicles, a substantive single-player mission, and one multiplayer map that supports up to 16 players on the GameSpy network. Both enemy and friendly intelligence are realistic, and a unique (for two years ago) defense system with rechargeable shields allows for intense firefights that don't permanently cripple the Master Chief. Once learned, the mouse-steering system allows for some fancy driving. The environments look awesome, and a subtle soundtrack enhances the experience. Be warned that the listed system requirements are a bare minimum. Adjusting video settings may be necessary to improve performance on some systems.

Cross Fire

Cross Fire is an online military first-person shooter for the PC, developed by SmileGate and published by G4BOX. Players assume the role of either a Black List or Global Risk operative, and then compete in modes including Team Death Match, the exclusive stealth-action ghost mode and the brand new Mutation Mode. Cross Fire also includes a persistent military ranking system, in-game friends lists, a clan formation system, daily missions and deep character customization options.
